The foodproof SL GMO T25 Maize Detection Kit allows qualitative detection of T25 maize (LibertyLink^TM) by real-time PCR. T25 maize has been approved since 1998 in the EU, both for cultivation as well as for use in food and feed. The approval for the cultivation of T25 maize in the EU expired in 2007, but the approval of 1998 remains valid until a new decision is made.
